How to reach the Amsterdam Passengers Terminal

From the airport Schiphol take the train to "Amsterdam Centraal Station". This is the easiest & cheapest way to reach Amsterdam.

From Amsterdam Centraal Station:

By foot
From Amsterdam Central Station, take the Noord [North] exit. Once outside the station, turn right and follow the IJ River. Once over the bridge, the Passenger Terminal Amsterdam can be seen on the left-hand side. Approx. 15 minutes by foot or you can follow the instructions ‘by tram’.

By tram (lines 25 & 26)
Tram 25 (direction Pass.Term. Amsterdam) is located on the east side of the Central Station.
The tram stops directly in front of the hotel. Get out at stop  Music Building Bimhuis.
For the Amsredan PAssengers Terminal take the next stop at Passenger Terminal Amsterdam

Tram 26 (direction IJburg) is also located on the east side of the Central Station.
The tram stops directly in front of the hotel. Get out at stop  Music Building Bimhuis.

By car
A10 Ring Road, S114 Exit (Zeeburg, Centrum, Artis, IJburg). At the end of the exit lane, turn left. Continue straight along this road. Once in the Piet Hein Tunnel, stay in the lane marked Centraal Station. The entrance to the Passenger Terminal Amsterdam is 1 km farther on the right-hand side.

There will be no shuttle service available between Schiphol Amsterdam International Airport, the conference centre or the conference hotels.

Parking !!
Please note that parking at the Passengers Terminal Amsterdam is really expensive (€ 4 per hour, € 48 per day). If you are coming by car the best alternative is to park at P+R Zeeburg (more info click here). Costs are € 6 per day including tickets for public transportation. From there you can take tram 26 direction Amsterdam Centraal, this will only take you 5 minutes.

Public Transport
Amsterdam is a very compact city where your destination usually will not be at a great distance. Therefore, Amsterdam is ideal for getting around by foot, bicycle or public transport. There is a dense public transport system and tram, metro or bus stops are usually around the corner. Cars are less suitable for navigating in Amsterdam. Moreover, parking must be paid for in almost the entire city and the rates can be substantial.

Taxis can be ordered at the Porter’s Desk on the ground floor of the conference centre.
