P21 GmbH & Heliocentris GmbH
Title: Cost Challenges for Clean Power Solutions

Speakers:  Thomas Esser, Product Manager, P21 GmbH, Munich, Germany
Siegfried Suchanek, Business Development Manager, Heliocentris
                Energiesysteme GmbH, Berlin, Germany

Description:
Establishing a wireless network in remote locations is an expensive proposition, as they typically rely on diesel generator-powered stations. Operator’s business model’s long-term efficiency is challenged on a daily basis by rising fuel costs, fuel transportation, storage issues, and diesel generator maintenance. At the same time, they have environmental considerations that drive them to seek clean, renewable alternatives.
OPEX savings of up 80% through the implementation of clean power solutions are proven. But still operators hesitate to adopt technical changes in their infrastructure due to high CAPEX. The P21 session will explain how a break even can be achieved within a very short period.

KyotoCooling® International & Wagner Oxyreduct®
Title: KyotoCooling® International en Wagner Oxyreduct® present: Seeing = Believing

Speakers: Mees Lodder( This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it ) and Michel de Boer( This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it )

Description:
The concept of ‘the “Kyoto Wheel” is developed by KyotoCooling® International BV and addresses the cooling of a Data Center, saves on cooling expenses, makes it “GREEN” and sustainable in the same process. In this presentation is demonstrated how the concept works in practice, its capabilities are shown. How KyotoCooling® dynamically controls itself when either the heat load in the Data Center or the ambient air temperature varies will be explained by Mees Lodder.

The innovative Quick Respond Oxyreduct® fire prevention concept of WAGNER will be presented by Michiel de Boer. This technology controls the oxygen level in a Data Center and if necessary, reduces it to a level at which it will beimpossible for a fire to ignite. Truly a phenomenal experience.

On Tuesday 11 October 2011 (12:45 – 18:00) a free technical excursion to Rotterdam is offered to full registrants, in order to see and feel an energy efficient process of cooling systems, KyotoCooling® “The Kyoto Wheel” and an unique fire prevention system of the Wagner Quick Respond Oxyreduct® that achieves the highest level of fire safety in combination with maximum availability. Truly it is a phenomenal experience.

Hefra B.V.
Title: Bolt Silicone electrolyte Lead batteries.
A breakthrough in battery technology based upon replacing sulphuric acid for silicate salt electrolyte.

Speakers: Simon Hui, Bolt Batteries Ltd. & Dick Vleeskruijer, Batterysales Hefra B.V.

Description:
The latest development in battery technology is the New Silicone lead battery, it replaces the traditional Lead Acid battery.
Silicone batteries can be fully discharged, with no sulphation of the active mass.
On top of that, the neutral electrolyte doesn’t corrode the electrodes, it diminishes the risk of sudden death.
This new battery technology operates by adding a silicate salt electrolyte to a lead
battery, instead of the usual Sulphuric Acid.
